        Yeah, I suppose it implies a level of immorality but asking someone to swear an oath requires a commitment to “so help me god”. If you don’t believe then the oath is not meaningful.

          It goes against my integrity of being dishonest. Making me do an oath I know is bullshit nonsense is still forcing me into the position of agreeing to this nonsense.

            That’s where black and versus shades of grey come in. The people forcing the oath are acting immorally or at least nonsensically which begs the question of whether the people taking it should return the compliment. A black and white person will say an oath is an oath where a shades of grey person will be less committed.
