Nicki Minaj has made a surprise appearance at Turning Point USA (TPUSA), where she took part in a question-and-answer session with the widowed wife of Charlie Kirk and the new CEO of the political organisation, Erika Kirk, since his husband’s passing.

Following her appearance and confirmation that she is a MAGA (Make America Great Again) supporter, a past comment made by Charlie Kirk about the rapper during one of his debates with a student has resurfaced online, sparking renewed backlash and debate

Nicki was supposed to be this amazing female rapper and then sold out for garbage pop music… now she sells out for the orange pedo… I get a feeling she’d sell anything out for a paycheck

I look at it now that she tried positioning herself as more of a pop star, but her ability to rap had her stick out at a time when there were almost no women rappers.

Then she lucked out when pop music switched to raps for the bridge and she had a unique sounding flow at the time so all the songwriters who wanted someone who sounded like her to only be able to go to her. Nicki’s popularity tanked when Cardi B and other women rappers started mimicking Nicki’s style.

Fuck, I haven’t paid attention to her for the better part of two decades. Last time I saw her was on The Creep from Lonely Island…15 years ago. Girl has gone downhill.
