The move comes amid Donald Trump’s trade war with Canada, which has contributed to a significant decline in U.S. liquor sales after the country ushered in a boycott of American booze, and as more young adults are cutting back on drinking.
Jim Beam, owned by Suntory Global Spirits, is one of Kentucky’s biggest bourbon producers.
The Bluegrass state’s $9 billion whiskey bourbon industry has been struggling to manage its abundant supply of liquor against the drop in demand.

I hate to tell you but, you’re going to be very disappointed.
Well, they do have a Dem governor. Unlike my state they don’t guzzle the red koolaid (WV).
I still hate them for continually voting in the fucking geriatric turtle though.
They’ll vote the way they are told to by the companies owned by the people who’s interests don’t line up with theirs.
We say they are stupid, but the news tells them what to think, it agrees with everything their friends are saying because they watch the same news, and it isn’t likely they are going to suddenly say something that is against all of the people around them.
Parties are a terrible way to do democracy.
