Trying to get a grip on a comic / western anime style that fits with my natural drawing style. These are typically the least popular of what I draw, while popularity isn’t a goal it is good feedback on does my art need more scrutiny.

Those wings are awesome. To echo some other comments, your style has noticeably evolved and gotten really cool. I love this one: the framing, the color scheme, the angles, those badass wings. I can totally still see the unique style that oozes from your other simpler drawings, but with all this extra detail it’s even better.
Thank you! My normal sketch level finished drawings take an hour to an hour and a half or so. This one took 4.5 hours. Oddly I enjoyed spending that much time on it. Normally I tap out well before then.
Your style has evolved so much since your first post here. I think you are figuring it out just fine. If you want more of an adult audience try tightening the details for more realism. If you’re going for more of a younger audience keep the cartoony aspects of the art like the big feet. Congrats on your growth! You are doing it!

I feel like you could go in a sort of Ralph Bakshi-influenced direction from here and create something modern out of it.
Swords and sorcery feels ripe for some reshaping to me right now.
