we would need a direct democracy, i think, in order to have a society that requires only from us to vote, and even then there’s the matter of that someone needs to carry out the results of those votes. so even in a direct democracy, we would likely need to discuss politics, make plans together, resolve conflicts, and address immediate needs in our communities
