    Oh no, we wouldn’t want to have an open source browser capable of using AI tools, that should be entirely left to the closed source browsers. Those are much more “trustworthy.”

        In my particular case I want many of those tools. They’re not being forced on me. Should I have to turn to closed-source browsers in order to get them?

          No, you should use those open-source AI tools that offer integration with your open-source web browser (e.g. extensions). Like adblocking, nto forced onto you but there is a plethora of ways to integrate it into your browser.

      Sorry, what are you talking about? What browsers offer more than a chatbot window? Even Perplexity’s browser is just a chatbot window on top of Chromium.

      Disco is the only one where I’ve seen something beyond that.
