As an outsider.
The EU represents, to me, he only power in the world that has a mostly people focused existence.
China, currently, is about the glory of China and the ‘legacy’ of Xi.
USA; is all about American exceptionalism. Trump is driving significant instability; he care only for Trump.
So work out your differences; be the adult in the room. Help your people, the rest of us need your stability.
As a side note; Putin is like a scorned lover, the USSR was a big player on the international stage. He resents that Russia is no longer that important. It seems like his expansionist tendencies are to get back to the world power status they once enjoyed.

I’m all for EU in theory, but it’s becoming harder and harder to want what they are pushing. Especially the way that they want it.
It also makes things much much easier to corrupt.

But plenty of people still remember the ECB “Austerity” campaigns of the 2010s, which crippled Southern Europe and kicked off a wave of far-right party organizing across the continent.
Add to it, the Austerity programs championed in Europe a decade ago came from the same Chicago School and Anarcho-Capitalist mouthpieces that have injected Jeanine Áñez into Bolivia, Milei into Argentina, and now José Antonio Kast into Chile, with a looming threat of Maria Corina Machado being foisted on Venezuela.
So, United EU on what terms, exactly?
As an outsider looking in, who has enough problems of their own to deal with, what kinds of things are the aforementioned “empires” doing to divide the EU? Or is there somewhere I can read about it?
