No, withholding information for national security is one thing, lying to parliament members is against the basic principles of a democracy and would be a far bigger scandal. And sadly enough idiots are voting for those shithats that they are in the German parliament.
I don’t want to live in a country though, where the executive and military groups are lying to parliament members. That’s a very known and fast way to dictatorship.
Everybody is always convinced that they are working for the good and that’s why it’s okay to not adhere to the rules. Result is the same though, everytime.
