Oookay… I mean I get the impulse, but if I attempted this it would end with bloody hands. Very effective to un-impulse such desires. OOP must have a very patient cat.

All cats are different. Maybe a cat secretly loves it. Maybe the plan is an artistic urinal revenge. Maybe the claws were clipped recently. Who knows?
I have attempted something like this with many different cats (I’m a slow learner). You’re not wrong, but I maintain that OOP’s cat is a minority here.
