I’ve seen lackluster reviews of Lumo, but personally find it really useful! Lumo has successfully helped me with simple development tasks including getting started with self hosting, turning apps into web apps etc. And I enjoy talking to it more than any other AI that has comparable privacy!
I’m not saying it’s perfect, but I’d rather use Lumo than Copilot or ChatGPT any day!
It definitely seems better than launch. I tried it for the first couple weeks after launch and wasn’t really impressed vs GPT via duck.ai. But I tried it again recently and it was surprisingly useful with some motorcycle suspension tuning advice*. And overall it seems as good as duck.ai for random linux commands and scripting now (at least for my uses).
