It was a game where you have to choose which path to go to (left or right) and then I remember vaguely one of the wrong paths you chose had a crocodile or something like that, I think it was a treasure hunt kind of game? Please tell me I’m not imagining things 😂

I really miss some of the extra content we got with physical media releases. The commentary tracks had some real gems in lots of shit.

Not your imagination. 😉 Games like this were very common on DVDs, the problem is Hook had MULTIPLE DVD releases and it looks like the game was only on this one:

Later releases started removing features. If you watch this video, you’ll see ALL the subtitle track languages for example. Later ones had “English” and that was it.

Yes, that’s the one, thank you! This brings me so much memories, I didn’t know how to play the game but it was fun from what I can remember 😅 I checked the wiki and it mentioned all the other dvd versions but it didn’t mention the game that’s why I asked here lol.

I used to enjoy going through our DVDs and finding which ones had more interactive menus than the others. The old Lilo & Stitch DVD had a game where you could mix up your own experiments. I think The Blair Thumb had some randomizer thing going on with it.

Yeah, we took it for granted back then. Now in the days of netflix and streaming services as a whole and no effort put in on newer DVDs out nowadays, it’s not worth it.

I had a LOTR Return of the King Extended DVD Special Edition Box Set and I loved going through the special features especially finding the Easter eggs behind the scenes interviews.

It’s not that, it was definitely only exclusive in that one Hook DVD I had (gotta go look for it now I have it at home somewhere lol). Someone commented on it now but thank you. I had to make sure I wasn’t going crazy about it haha.
