Simbin’s GTR2002 was an amazing mod of EA’s F1 game. Great online racing and the added hotlap ranking from Find the Limit.
Many hours invested and IRC friends made. Got to race Gregor Huttu and had some of his setups ;)

I’ve driven many cars without ps and when going fast enough that a quick reaction is necessary, it can be handled fast enough. Not a major safety issue more than looking at GPS is a safety issue. I ride over 100km a week on my MTB so thanks for the suggestion.

Cranking! That allows no electrical wires needed to cross into the door. Simpler and less prone to failing.
I can start by saying that I’m a tech “guy”. The evolution was simple: Puzzles, Lego, bikes, model R/C cars/planes, computers, motorcycles then cars. Add to that motorcycles and cars give you freedom of movement to go anywhere anytime in a whim, it is difficult to not geek about them.
Then, during a brief period of my life I lived in a big (for me) city and had to use the public transport and it was horrible. This only exacerbated my dreams of owning a motor vehicle. Car magazines helped fuel these dreams.
My dad loved sports cars, that didn’t help the addiction ;)

This is something I’m looking for also… but extended to the max. It seems all EVs have to be feature packed. I don’t want that. Give me an option to have manual windows, no central locking nor remote, and if the tire size is right, I won’t even need power steering. A/C AND USB-A would be the only creature conforts wanted… Probably an EV converted beetle?
Cook at home mostly. Every now and then maybe every two weeks we go out. And twice a week I send the kids to get kebab or pizza at the plaza in town. Never have had anything “cooked” delivered… because no such service where I live.
Me thinks this is funnier where universal healthcare doesn’t exist

Part to blame for those stats. Watched S1 but not S2, and I don’t know if I will. I loosely remember the plot and names of the characters. Lost all interest and I don’t want to invest my time on a series that may or may not have an ending, or if I’m alive by then.

Besides that it is safer, I don’t hit my front splitter on the curb.
