One drove by my house a few weeks ago. Before that? I haven’t seen one in the wild in years.

As a US citizen, probably Canada. I’m less than pleased with how our government has been treating our friends in the North under the current administration. Sounds like it would be a great place to live with some good perks compared to here.

The thought of raising my kids somewhere other than US soil is weirdly sad, though. My nation has done a lot to be ashamed of lately, but I still believe in what we’re supposed to stand for.

I’d spend time in All and filter out a bunch of US-centric news communities if I was you. I did that with loads of communions I didn’t want to see stuff from.

My handwriting comes with free encryption at rest. Even I might not be able to read it.

Plus PieFed also has a tool to migrate a community from a dying instance to itself. It’s not perfect, but it preserves old posts and comments and it’s fueled at least some growth.
