Videos from one scene, at North Kildare Avenue in Old Irving Park, showed a group of neighbors marching down the street, filming and blowing whistles as they cussed out federal agents, who were wearing Border Patrol insignia and all masked, some wearing sunglasses. One of the white SUVs they got inside didn’t have license plates displayed.
Police should be arresting border patrol driving without plates.
As the police are failing in their duty to uphold the law, the law therefore becoming meaningless. Isn’t the next logical step for citizens to remove their plates?
If it’s okay for some to drive without plates, it’s okay for all.
They may begin enforcing the plates law again when nobody is wearing plates.
But they’re not and they won’t. The dots almost connect themselves.
