I had to replace mine two years ago. I want to say it was sixteen hundred dollars?
My house came with an induction stove, and I really liked it. And so when it went bad, I got a replacement. My only suggestion, if you decide to do that, is make sure that your induction stove uses knobs or buttons and not a touch screen.
Not that it’s a huge deal, but to turn it on you have to hit either the high button or the low button, and then press up or down repeatedly to get it to the right setting, and since I always want to cook somewhere in the middle, it’s like five, sporadic, not very efficient touchscreen button presses to get the stove turned on for each eye.
It only adds like three seconds of annoyance to each day that I cook with the stovetop, but that’s still three seconds every single day, that I’m sitting there tap, tap, tap, tap, tapping, gently rapping to get the stove turned on.
Mine is meile with touchscreen and its very efficient. I would recommend touchscreen because the cleaning is amazing too, just one wipe over and it’s done.

Mine is a Miele cooker and the touch is annoying as it doesn’t always register.
Sometimes mine doesn’t register if there is liquid in the area, that’s a little annoying.
