I can’t criticize him for that. I can’t remember anything he’s solved either.

That’s because he solved so many. Some people say the most wars in the history of the country. Many Big very strong warriors go to him with tears in their eyes and say “Thank you sir for creating peace on earth and good will to all”.
He’s the best war solver. He solved WWII. There was no more war after that
Can you imagine if anyone else suggested that you could “solve wars” via some huggy pies between the involved country’s leaders?
So for once, he accidentally happened upon the right answer.
He did have a stroke the other day.
“…the other day.” was my grandmothers phrase, which could have meant last week, or decades ago. It was an other day.
Well, that is what it means.
As a child, I needed a tad bit more context. Also, in retrospect, it was probably a coping mechanism for age related cognitive decline (ARCD).
The phrase is intentionally vague.
