Gov. Gavin Newsom came full swing at Donald Trump Saturday, claiming the president is lying to cover up his involvement in convicted sex abuser Jeffrey Epstein’s case.
“He’s lying to cover up his prior lies and then lying again. Now he doesn’t even know truth from fiction, and so look, he’s caught it red handed,” Newsom told popular left-wing influencer Brian Tyler Cohen in an interview that aired Saturday. “He’s in the files. We know it, period, full stop.”
Trump and Attorney General Pam Bondi have received major backlash in the past few weeks over their handling of Epstein’s files after hyping them up, then failing to release more information. Many of those outraged are the president’s own supporters, who are beginning to turn on him over the issue.
Meanwhile, news outlets have been resurfacing old videos, photos and documents that suggest a close friendship between the president and Epstein.
Let’s be very clear here since the worthless scribblers of corpo media won’t. The old photos, videos, and documents resurfacing doesn’t “suggest” a close friendship. It showcases it - plain and clear.

Meanwhile, nothing’s changed. This is how Trump always was. If anything has changed, it’s that Republicans have let him surround himself with people who will never say “no” to him. Even Republicans in Congress know how batshit crazy his policies are, yet they vote for them anyway.
Newsom will say anything to get elected, though. I hope someone primaries his ass good …
“Something changed” is an off ramp for those who are in too deep to back out without a mental crisis caused by accepting reality. More then they deserve, but it’s a way out while saving face.
Gavin needs to be VERY CAREFUL! If he does ANYTHING to Appeal to his Base he might LOSE Republican Voters that will NEVER vote for him Anyway!

The court documents, as a whole, are awful. I don’t care if they are old news: if outlets actually gave a flying fuck, they would be spamming these details. All these conspiracy theorists rather deny this stuff & believe in adrenachrome or whatever stupid fantasy they need to sleep.

Typical Dem strategy, to play to the center and court the disaffected right. And it’s a losing one. Voters see right through it.
Newsom is already a neolib bitch. This language isn’t hard for him.
They always play nice with vile people, and frankly, I don’t know what the answer to that is. You would think there would be enough of a case to be made to speak loudly and firmly, but instead we get this weakness from Newsom, while the media praises it as strength.
The answer is some politicians don’t. Talk about them. Don’t comment too much on noise. 97% of politics is distraction.

If he becomes the Democratic Nominee, I’m going third party or staying home.
Do not stay home. Never stay home. At least vote independent to make your voice heard. People will absolutely look at the third party votes, and if that percentage is rising it is going to scare the shit out of the primary parties.
I’m sorry, but they haven’t been scared of a 3rd party my whole life. It’s just a convenient thing for the losing party to blame instead of changing.
