    So are our tax dollars funding it any more directly than they’re funding any other federal worker’s health insurance?

      No, but not sure how thats relevant. Their salaries also come from our taxes. Other federal employees aren’t the ones putting medical debt back onto credit reports.

        Because there is a distinction between things like Tricare or the VA health system, and just a good healthcare plan that you get through your employer. Even if that employer is the government.

        Our Senators get free healthcare on our dime (Tricare). Federal workers get a good HMO plan because they have a massive risk pool. Big difference.
