That’s why it’s better to legalise everything and set up a regulated system. We can accept the fact that adult people can responsibly use even things such as cocaine, methamphetamines, opiates even. If there’s an actually regulated system that takes in account the user and suspected abuses, then it’s obviously vastly superior to any criminal run enterprise. It’s also healthier and funds the government through taxes from the funds which are now channelled directly into large international criminal enterprises.
Drug trafficking is still criminal. It’s just acquisition and consumption for personal use that’s decriminalized.
