I watched the first 3 episodes of this show and didn’t like it at all. The plot seemed silly and the characters a bit cringy. Am I missing something? Does it get better? Am I just wrong?
It’s similar to FLCL but more sane. If it’s not your jam, don’t sweat it.
Plot being silly is the best part , so if u didnt like it its all good , to each their own ! So find something u like and enjoy
More popular than solo levelling? That’s surprising
Does Solo Leveling have an episode early on where it suddenly gets better or something? I watched like 6 episodes and it’s just violent and boring, I couldn’t stick with it. Everybody sucks and even the leveling trope isn’t used very interestingly. It’s so well regarded though, I don’t get the appeal.
The first 6 episodes of Gurren Lagann suck mostly, though, and then from ep 7 it’s a masterpiece, so I guess it happens.
It’s generic power fantasy with no substance. The art is pretty cool though, and it’s well paced for what it is. I have read the entire thing, btw

Sadly, no. It really is just a generic power fantasy where the MC becomes stupidly powerful later. The fights get better but it’s a popcorn flick, nothing about it is that good.
