    What makes Palantir such coke for governments? I somehow suspected the UK Govt wouldn’t be able to resist them, but I still don’t understand why

      It might help that Mandelson’s lobbying firm, Global Counsel, had Palantir as a client and set up a meeting with Starmer on their behalf. Obviously I’m not suggesting this wasn’t entirely in the nation’s interest.

        Would certainly give the government a reason to look for an out, if they ever got rid of Starmer.
