Apparently it’s big in China too. I hadn’t heard of it, but I saw a post on rednote about Canada and there were about a thousand comments about Heated Rivalry. I don’t even remember what the post was about, it was just some sort of “hi, I’m Canadian” or something, and immediately everyone wanted to talk about Heated Rivalry.
Honestly, I don’t get the hype. Jacob Tierney was hilarious in Letterkenny, and brilliant in directing Shoresy, but Heated Rivalry just came across as boring.
Sigh. I wish Russia could be a better place to live. Jailing people for liking popular media is nuts by just about ever metric.
Gaoling people for being gay is shitty by every metric.
That series is so silly, but it’s ok.
