Acrylic on wood.

Not ready to share the whole painting. I added these lemons because the composition needed something to balance it and i was really happy with how they were coming out.

Last night, 2 am on my way to the bathroom, I glance at it in the dark and realize these lemons are life-sized - while the rest of the painting is double that. And they’re in the foreground. So now I have to repaint them.

Some lemons can be tiny! These can totally be adorable tiny little lemons. They turned out really well and I bet the finished painting looks awesome!

Thank you. You guys are making me take a harder look at the painting, and I see now that the scale on my tea cup is off and needs to be smaller. Since it’s still very unfinished, I can fix that way easier and hopefully leave the lemons alone.

Small lemon varieties exist! You don’t have to paint over them, you can drop facts on anyone who asks about it lol

You don’t make lil lemonade. You make life regret the day it ever gave you lemons, by having your engineers create lil combustible lemons, then using them to burn life’s house down!

I like it. I can’t paint. Scultp, draw, whatever sure. But paint eludes my control.

And it’s on wood? Very cool
