Don’t most modern car engines turn off when the car is sitting still? Also, EVs solve this problem.

I’d think bus and lorry/truck idling emissions would be the real problem. They are mostly dirty diesel, don’t have auto shutoff, and are left idling more often. Again, switching to EV platforms solves this.

Seems like a waste of time and effort to pester car drivers about this.
